Frequently Asked Questions

Tirzepatide is typically for adults who are overweight or obese, particularly those with a BMI of 30+ or 27+ with weight-related medical conditions. Ideal candidates have struggled to lose weight with diet and exercise alone and are committed to making long-term lifestyle changes.

Tirzepatide begins working shortly after your first injection, but noticeable weight loss typically starts within a few weeks. Most patients see more significant results after 8-12 weeks as the dosage is gradually increased.

Weight loss varies, but many patients lose between 15-25% of their body weight over time when combined with healthy lifestyle changes. Individual results depend on factors like dosage, adherence, diet, and activity level.

Tirzepatide is considered safe for long-term use when prescribed and monitored by a healthcare provider. Ongoing follow-ups are important to track progress, manage side effects, and ensure the treatment meets your health needs.

Tirzepatide is injected in areas such as the abdomen, thigh, or upper arm. It’s recommended to rotate injection sites to minimize irritation.

If you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible within four days of the missed injection. If four or more days have passed, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Do not double up doses. Always follow your provider’s instructions.

There’s no strict “required” diet, but a balanced, calorie-conscious diet is strongly recommended to maximize results. Focus on lean proteins, vegetables, whole grains, and healthy fats, and avoid processed foods and added sugar.

Yes. Regular physical activity enhances weight loss results, improves overall health, and helps maintain muscle mass. Combining cardio and strength training is ideal.

The duration varies by individual. Many patients stay on Tirzepatide for several months to a year or longer, depending on their goals and how their body responds. Some may continue it as part of a long-term weight maintenance plan.

Yes, but it should be done under medical supervision. Your provider may recommend tapering off gradually and implementing a maintenance plan to help sustain your results.

Weight regain is possible if healthy lifestyle habits are not maintained. Continuing a balanced diet, regular exercise, and behavioral changes is important to maintaining weight loss after stopping the medication.

Most side effects, such as nausea or mild digestive discomfort, occur early in treatment and improve within a few weeks as your body adjusts. Gradual dose increases help minimize these effects.
