LINDA: Dear Dr. Cherup, I've been considering breast augmentation. I was curious how long it would be until I would be able to work out again. Linda, from Pittsburgh.
DR. CHERUP: Dear Linda, your upper body motion should be severely restricted for at least 48 hours after surgery. After that, walking vigorously is allowed. After your sutures are removed in two weeks, most arms-up activities are okay.
